Candidates who want to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate courses can download the admit card from the official website of NTA NEET at neet.ntaonline.in. The candidates are required to download their Admit Card of NEET (UG) – 2024 using their Application No. and Date of Birth from the website.

All appearing candidates will have to carry these items to exam hall- personal transparent water bottle, additional photograph same as uploaded on application form, admit card along with self declaration having postcard size photograph.

NEET Exam: No rule prevents candidates from entering exam hall after voting 

In a public notice dated April 9, the NTA clarified that no rule prevents candidates from entering the NEET exam hall if their fingers are inked after voting for the Lok Sabha Elections. 

“It has been reported to the National Testing Agency, (NTA) that there are messages circulating in social media, claiming that individuals who vote in the General Elections to the Lok Sabha and have their fingers inked will be prohibited from entering examination halls of the examinations conducted by NTA. The above messages are completely baseless and NTA has not issued any such instruction/guideline. Students are requested not to pay heed to such rumors and exercise their voting right. Voting will not affect their eligibility to take examinations. The candidates are advised to focus on their studies and prepare for the forthcoming examinations,” it said.

NEET 2024 UG Exam: NTA NEET exam duration 

The duration of the test would be three (03) hours and 20 minutes. Compensatory time of one hour five minutes for examination of three hours twenty minutes (03:20 hrs) duration for PwBD Candidate [having a physical limitation to write] will be given, whether such candidate uses the facility of Scribe or not.

NEET UG 2024 Exam: Know when to reach exam centre 

The Examination Centre will be opened two (02) hours before the commencement of the test. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 pm. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the Centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall, informed NTA.

NEET UG 2024 Exam Live: Documents to be taken to the exam hall 

A printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA website with passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Application form pasted on it).

One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at Centre during NEET (UG) – 2024 Examination.

One Post Card Size (4”X6”) color photograph with white background should be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card. The proforma with Post Card size photograph shall be handed over to the Invigilator in the Examination Hall.

Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original and valid and like PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card /Ration Card/ Class 12 Admit Card with Photograph /any other valid photo ID issued by the Government. 

PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwBD category.
