All appearing candidates will have to carry these items to exam hall- personal transparent water bottle, additional photograph same as uploaded on application form, admit card along with self declaration having postcard size photograph.

No Candidate would be allowed to enter the Examination Centre, without Admit Card, Valid ID Proof, and proper frisking.

In a public notice dated April 9, the NTA clarified that no rule prevents candidates from entering the NEET exam hall if their fingers are inked after voting for the Lok Sabha Elections. 

“It has been reported to the National Testing Agency, (NTA) that there are messages circulating in social media, claiming that individuals who vote in the General Elections to the Lok Sabha and have their fingers inked will be prohibited from entering examination halls of the examinations conducted by NTA. The above messages are completely baseless and NTA has not issued any such instruction/guideline. Students are requested not to pay heed to such rumors and exercise their voting right. Voting will not affect their eligibility to take examinations. The candidates are advised to focus on their studies and prepare for the forthcoming examinations,” it said.

Candidates are advised to verify the location of the examination venue, a day in advance so that they do not face any problem on the day of examination.

As many as 23,81,833 students have registered for NEET UG 2024. The exam will be held on May 5 and admit cards are expected soon on exams.nta.ac.in.

The NTA has released admit cards for NEET UG 2024 which is available to candidates on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in.

Candidates will have to wait for the instructions from the Invigilator and they cannot get up from their seat until advised.

The duration of the test would be three (03) hours and 20 minutes. Compensatory time of one hour five minutes for examination of three hours twenty minutes (03:20 hrs) duration for PwBD Candidate [having a physical limitation to write] will be given, whether such candidate uses the facility of Scribe or not.

The Examination Centre will be opened two (02) hours before the commencement of the test. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 pm. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the Centre, weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall, informed NTA. 

A printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA website with passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Application form pasted on it).

One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at Centre during NEET (UG) – 2024 Examination.

One Post Card Size (4”X6”) color photograph with white background should be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card. The proforma with Post Card size photograph shall be handed over to the Invigilator in the Examination Hall.

Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original and valid and like PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card /Ration Card/ Class 12 Admit Card with Photograph /any other valid photo ID issued by the Government. 

PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwBD category.

The candidate should reach the exam centres at the time indicated against reporting/ entry time at the centre in the admit card.

Candidates appearing for the examination should download the admit card and check photograph, signature, and roll number barcode. These details are crucial for identification and verification purposes during the examination.

The candidates are required to download their Admit Card of NEET (UG) – 2024 using their Application No. and Date of Birth from the website.

Candidates who want to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate courses can download the admit card from the official website of NTA NEET at neet.ntaonline.in.

The examination will be conducted for more than 24 lakh candidates at different centers located in 557 Cities throughout the country and 14 Cities Outside India.

This year 24 lakh candidates have registered for NEET UG 2024. 

The NTA NEET examination will be conducted in single shift – from 2 pm to 5.20 pm across the country at various exam centres.

NEET UG 2024 Exam will be conducted on May 5, 2024.
