This year, the UGC NE exam was conducted in four phases from July 9 till October 14.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the UGC NET 2022 results. On the official UGC NET website, located at ugcnet.nta.nic.in / ntaresults.nic.in, a link for the UGC NET 2022 results will be active.

Candidates can  download and install the SANDES application as a secondary channel to receive time-to-time notifications from NTA.

The UGC-NET exam is administered twice annually to candidates seeking positions as “Assistant Professor” and “Junior Research Fellow” in Indian institutions. Due to COVID-19 this year, the December 2021 cycle was postponed, which further delayed the June 2022 cycle. 

The first part took place from July 9 to July 12. The second part started on September 20 and concluded on September 23. Between September 29 and October 4, the third phase was conducted. The last part of the exam, however, took place from October 8 to October 14.

UGC NET is conducted for ‘assistant professor’ and ‘junior research fellowship.

To be considered for ‘JRF and Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Assistant Professor’ positions, candidates must have appeared in both papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both papers taken together (35% for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD and third gender).
